Global Controller (SaaS) – Atlanta, GA
A fast‑growing, private‑equity backed SaaS organization located in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead and scale its global accounting operations. This strategic, hands‑on leader will build a high‑performance finance function, ensure strong financial controls, and support the company through continued growth and future exit opportunities.
This opportunity will offer a base compensation of $150,000‑175,000 + bonus
What You’ll Do Accounting Operations & Reporting- Oversee monthly financial statements for multiple entities
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606 for subscription and service revenue
- Prepare journal entries, perform GL reviews, and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage AR aging, support collections, and validate revenue adjustments
- Oversee domestic and international cash management
- Monitor lender covenants and prepare required reporting packages
- Lead annual audits (U.S., U.K., Netherlands) and support tax/audit activities
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly investor reporting
- Partner with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Support M&A due diligence, international expansion, and system implementations
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP
- Research and resolve technical accounting matters
- Administer accounting systems (ERP, billing, AP) and drive automation initiatives
- Improve ERP and financial systems to support scale
- File sales tax returns in nexus states and ensure jurisdictional compliance
- Mentor and develop accounting team members
- Champion a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s in Accounting
- 12–15 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
- SaaS or tech industry experience strongly preferred; deep ASC 606 expertise
- Private equity reporting and lender compliance experience
- Strong US GAAP knowledge and audit readiness skills
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with systems such as Sage Intacct, Net Suite, Maxio, Tipalti, etc.
- Must be willing to be onsite 3 days/week
