About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Financial Tax Advisor with strong tax expertise to join our team. This is a pivotal role as we restructure responsibilities across the firm: you’ll take the lead on client tax intake and relationship management, while collaborating closely with our lead accountant and our investment advisory team.
This role is ideal for a CPA with a CFP (or in active pursuit of the CFP) who thrives in a client‑facing position, brings initiative, and is eager to grow with a dynamic firm.
Key Responsibilities- Lead client tax intake, preparation, and relationship management, ensuring accuracy and a personal, client‑first experience.
- Collaborate with our remote lead accountant on backend tax work, coordinating technical details and workflow.
- Partner with investment advisors to deliver integrated tax and wealth management strategies.
- Manage client relationships with empathy, professionalism, and a “soft touch” approach.
- Take initiative in identifying opportunities, solving problems, and managing upward without waiting for direction.
- Contribute to firm‑wide transition as we reassign existing staff responsibilities.
- Maintain compliance with tax and financial planning regulations, while staying current with industry trends.
Required
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or open to getting it
- 3–5 years of professional tax and financial planning experience
- Strong technical tax expertise with demonstrated client‑facing experience
- Experience in 3 full end‑to‑end tax seasons: individual, corporate (including partnership), trust, and estate returns
- Experience balancing both tax preparation and advisory responsibilities
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- High personal accountability, self‑starter mindset, and ability to manage upward
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across remote and in‑person settings
- Hybrid role requiring in‑office presence at least once per month (Atlanta metro area).

- Base salary range: $75,000 – $95,000 (up to $100,000 for candidates with exceptional skills).
