Job Description & How to Apply Below

Executive Money Managers has experienced rapid growth, increasing from $80 million to $94 million in assets under management in under a year. We are a client‑centered wealth management firm that integrates tax and investment strategies to deliver holistic financial solutions. Under strong leadership and a collaborative culture, we are transitioning toward serving clients who value both tax services and investment management for long‑term success.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Tax Advisor with strong tax expertise to join our team. This is a pivotal role as we restructure responsibilities across the firm: you’ll take the lead on client tax intake and relationship management, while collaborating closely with our lead accountant and our investment advisory team.

This role is ideal for a CPA with a CFP (or in active pursuit of the CFP) who thrives in a client‑facing position, brings initiative, and is eager to grow with a dynamic firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client tax intake, preparation, and relationship management, ensuring accuracy and a personal, client‑first experience.
  • Collaborate with our remote lead accountant on backend tax work, coordinating technical details and workflow.
  • Partner with investment advisors to deliver integrated tax and wealth management strategies.
  • Manage client relationships with empathy, professionalism, and a “soft touch” approach.
  • Take initiative in identifying opportunities, solving problems, and managing upward without waiting for direction.
  • Contribute to firm‑wide transition as we reassign existing staff responsibilities.
  • Maintain compliance with tax and financial planning regulations, while staying current with industry trends.
Qualifications
Required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or open to getting it
  • 3–5 years of professional tax and financial planning experience
  • Strong technical tax expertise with demonstrated client‑facing experience
  • Experience in 3 full end‑to‑end tax seasons: individual, corporate (including partnership), trust, and estate returns
Preferred
  • Experience balancing both tax preparation and advisory responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • High personal accountability, self‑starter mindset, and ability to manage upward
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across remote and in‑person settings
Work Environment
  • Hybrid role requiring in‑office presence at least once per month (Atlanta metro area).
  • Collaborative team with both U.S.

    -based and international remote colleagues.
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary range: $75,000 – $95,000 (up to $100,000 for candidates with exceptional skills).
  • Comprehensive benefits package (to be discussed during the interview process).
  • Opportunity to grow with a fast‑scaling firm and take on expanded responsibilities over time.
