We’re helping a fast‑growing company in Atlanta hire a Controller to bring discipline, structure, and strategic financial insight to its accounting function. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a high‑impact role where you’ll implement processes and provide financial leadership across operations, growth planning, and deal evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Own the month‑end close process and preparation of GAAP‑compliant financial statements
- Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable financial insights
- Partner with leadership on strategic planning and cash flow forecasting
- Perform tenant credit and deal analysis for future contracts and partnerships
- Lead contract reviews and assess financing opportunities
- Transition the current bookkeeping‑heavy setup into a robust finance department
- Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and bankers as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 6+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in a small to midsize business
- Deep experience with Quick Books and transitioning to more scalable financial systems
- Proven ability to build out reporting and planning functions from the ground up
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with ownership and investors
