Who:
A growing private company in Sandy Springs is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations across multiple entities.

What:
You'll lead full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and light contract review while managing Quick Books-based systems.

Salary:
$130,000 to $150,000 base plus bonus and benefits, depending on experience.

Position Overview:

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the accounting function across multiple business entities, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with GAAP standards, and support for business decision-making. You'll work closely with ownership to provide financial insight and improve operational efficiency, while maintaining clean books and timely reporting through Quick Books.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all accounting operations for multiple entities.
• Lead and optimize the month-end close process and financial statement preparation.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensure accuracy, and oversee account reconciliations.
• Manage and improve Quick Books accounting systems and workflows.
• Support compliance efforts and review simple contracts as needed.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to leadership.
• Implement process improvements and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proven experience overseeing multi-entity accounting operations.
• Expertise in Quick Books and GAAP compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
• CPA or public accounting experience strongly preferred.
