* This enterprise-level role on Financial Methodologies and Performance Management team brings a Strategic Finance and Financial Performance Optimization mindset to develop and advise on critical company-wide financial decisioning frameworks, methodologies and profitability measurements that will drive shareholder value for the company.

In this role, you will have a direct and substantive ongoing impact on the development, evolution and enterprise-wide integration of the company's:

+ Client-centric financial decisioning frameworks, and

+ Financial methodologies for client and business profitability measurement and management (e.g., target ROTCE, hurdle rates of return, equity allocations, cost allocations, and other key measurements and management tools of financial performance), across the entire Truist organization.



You will help design, develop, and deploy enterprise-wide standards in these areas, and will ensure effective solution definition and delivery of new methodologies into the company's capital allocation and performance management processes.

You will leverage your knowledge of corporate finance concepts and analysis, to identify, build, enhance and ensure consistency of financial performance standards across all Lines of Business, through the bottoms-up client profitability orientation.

You will operate in a highly collaborative environment of seasoned professionals.

The team structure will require a flexible predisposition to alternate between financial and non-financial standards and will enable the ideal candidate to expand and deepen their understanding of traditional financial concepts, advanced financial modeling and analysis, and regulatory prudential frameworks.

Your role will involve managing relationships with Lines of Business, Finance, and Treasury stakeholders across all levels of organization.

This role will provide you with high degree of exposure and responsibility across varying levels of management and key decision makers within the LOBs and Corporate Functions and is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is interested in a strategic view of performance and profitability drivers at a Top 10 U.S. bank with $500+ billion balance sheet.

* Job responsibilities:

* + Partner with a broad range of organizational stakeholders in designing, elaborating, testing, analyzing, advancing and/or maintaining one or more financial methodology standards under coverage.

+ Provide ongoing research, testing, industry benchmarking and continuous communication with the lines of business regarding upcoming changes and pro-forma impacts.

+ Execute against the team's stated Roadmap towards best-in-class financial methodologies and proposed financial management target-state systems, including financial resource allocation targets across Lines of Business and other strategic initiatives.

+ Coordinate and communicate with key stakeholders across Corporate Treasury, Model Risk, Controllers, and others, to stay abreast of regulatory, accounting or modeling changes that may have broad enterprise implications; and provide independent perspective on Client and Business Profitability implications to internal partners and Line of Business stakeholders.
