OverviewThe Credit Delivery teams underwrite credit products to new and existing clients and actively manage the existing portfolio to meet client needs while ensuring appropriate risk‑return strategies. The group underwrites lead and non‑lead opportunities from investment grade to levered transactions, executes amendments, refinancings, and ancillary approvals. They manage portfolio risk through rating integrity, annual reviews, watchlist, and compliance guidelines, and identify emerging credit problems and industry trends to mitigate risk.
RoleSummary
The position is typically a two‑year role, with the option for a one‑year extension. Credit Delivery Analysts are primarily based in Atlanta, GA, with occasional training elsewhere.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Analyze and underwrite transactions, amendments, and credit products within deal teams.
- Prepare credit product approvals and presentations with recommendations and credit views.
- Build and use financial models (projections, DCF, LBO, valuation, cash‑flow analysis).
- Research and analyze companies, industries, and transactions for client activities and risk mitigation.
- Support Directors, VPs, and Associates in portfolio management including covenant compliance and financial spreads.
- Assist in preparing annual reviews, renewals, and amendments; senior analysts may complete entire reviews.
- Maintain active ownership and timely processing of quarterly risk ratings.
- Undergraduate degree.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic, competitive drive, and time‑management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Licenses:
Series 79, Series 63, SIE.
- Undergraduate degree with coursework in accounting or finance.
- One year of experience in a finance/banking environment.
