Sr Financial Analyst

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance and/or data analytics professional to partner and help drive overall results in our Consolidation FP&A and Fintech team. The Consolidation FP&A and Fintech team is responsible for consolidating Hertz financial results and partnering with Hertz leaders on financial related aspects of the business. In this fast-paced team, the Senior Financial Analyst position will work closely with IT to maintain our financial systems and build new financial reporting in our financial IT systems.

The Senior Financial Analyst will conduct variance analysis, monthly actuals reporting, budgeting and forecasting, project review and audit, along with ad hoc analysis and reconciliations. Actuals reporting and budgeting is reviewed with senior leadership to provide guidance on opportunities, risks, and support key business decisions.

What You’ll Do:

• This position will perform a key role in providing financial business analysis, decision support and thought leadership
• Support monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes for short term and long-term business planning
• Build new reports in our financial system:
  Oracle EPBCS
• Maintain and audit our financial systems for SOX and audit compliance
• Provide timely and accurate analysis of Business Performance:
  Revenue, operating expense and EBITDA impact, understanding of variances to prior forecast, annual operating plan and prior year performance
• This includes developing financial forecasts and analysis, generating internal management reports, monitoring key performance indicators and driving the scaling and automation of financial processes
• Ad-hoc analysis support for senior management

What We’re Looking For:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, data analytics, mathematics, statistics, or accounting
• 3+ years of FP&A, Finance or Data Science experience in analytical/reporting role preferred
• Moderate / Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Power BI
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
• Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Results driven, ability to make decisions and help overcome business challenges
