If you are a Finance Professional with six plus years of experience in a multibillion-dollar bank handling budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and profitability, this could be an outstanding opportunity for you. Our focus is placing top performers within Accounting & Finance – primarily CFO’s, Chief Accounting Officers, Controllers, Treasurers, Asset & Liability Managers, and Portfolio Managers.
Our client is a multibillion-dollar financial services organization in the Georgia Market. They have a vision for continued M&A and organic growth and a strategy that is only going to continue to expand. Their Management Team is very solid and the bank’s strategy is focused both on organic growth as well as traditional M&A. This approach has paid dividends, and the organization is performing very well.
They are well positioned and poised to move to the next level and are now looking to add a key player in a newly created role that will handle budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, dashboarding, etc.
The role is multifaceted and will evolve as the organization grows. Initially, the primary focus will be budgeting and forecasting and building out appropriate methodologies. Experience project managing software implementations is a huge plus. The client does not currently have a standalone budgeting and forecasting application, so experience with a major banking platform help drive internal conversations about future software selection.
The role will also involve driving profitability analysis, drilling down into customer, product, and organizational profitability. You will be responsible for building and enhancing the function, taking a leadership role within the organization, and communicating effectively across corporate lines to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. At least six years of banking experience with demonstrated budgeting, forecasting and profitability functionality. Implementation experience of any software system is a huge plus. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong presentation skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
