Vice President Investment Banking

Blacklock are partnered with an established investment banking platform seeking a highly qualified Vice President (VP1/2) to join its Healthcare M&A team in Atlanta.

The ideal candidate will have a strong execution background, deep transaction experience in the Healthcare space, and the ability to lead deal teams and interface directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of M&A transactions across buy-side, sell-side, and strategic advisory assignments.

• Manage day-to-day transaction processes, including diligence coordination, financial modeling, valuation, and client deliverables.

• Oversee preparation of marketing materials, including CIMs, pitch books, management presentations, and board materials.

• Play a key role in client interactions, including presenting analysis and running work streams independently.

• Supervise and mentor junior bankers (Associates and Analysts), ensuring a high standard of output and professional development.

• Support senior leadership in business development and deal origination efforts.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant investment banking experience, preferably with exposure to Healthcare or adjacent verticals.

• Strong M&A execution track record and ability to lead transactions with limited oversight.

• Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus but not required.
