This is a remote role that requires you to currently live within 90 miles of the Greater Atlanta, GA area.
Job DescriptionRetirement Planners play a critical role in driving customer loyalty so our Tax Exempt retirement plan participants choose to become Fidelity customers for life. They will be responsible for helping our workplace participants better understand and maximize their plan benefits and provide the education and guidance they need to make their own informed decisions.
Expertise We’re Looking For- Series 7 & Series 63 licenses required, Series 66 preferred.
- Series 66 license required within 90 days of hire.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service or sales role preferred.
- Knowledge of tax exempt retirement products and services highly desirable.
- Previous phone center experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer results.
- Comprehensive understanding of the current market, economy and economic trends.
- Robust consultative, influencing and communication skills.
- Proven capability to be proactive and demonstrate initiative.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to adapt to change.
- Onboard new participants into their workplace plans by providing education on company match and savings and guiding investment strategy selection.
- Support consolidation inquiries by proactively asking participants about prior workplace plans and outside investments.
- Engage Tax Exempt Market retirement plan participants in a needs-based analysis to identify appropriate solutions.
- Leverage guidance and tools to assist customers with retirement readiness.
- Apply consultative selling skills to acquire, retain and develop assets.
- Deliver general education to clients regarding Fidelity Viewpoints.
- Identify opportunities for more complex guidance and partner with other Retirement Planner associates as appropriate.
Provide education and support for workplace participants to improve retirement readiness, increasing cash flow through enhanced deferrals and driving crossover customers, creating both personal and workplace investment flows.
CertificationsSeries 07 - FINRA, Series 63 - FINRA, Series 66 - FINRA (required within 90 days of hire).
