Fast growing and dynamic home builder looking for a Controller.

• Oversee month-end close process including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Work with development team to insure projects are on budget, variance analysis.
• Manage all banking relationships.
• Facilitate bi-weekly construction draws.
• Manage AP and AR processes.
• Prepare and review construction billing.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Ad hoc reporting for leadership as necessary.
• Review and approve closing statements for homes/properties.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and analysis.
• Ensure vendors are paid timely, accurately, and in accordance with agreed upon terms.
• Support field development and homebuilding operations.
• Work closely with team to ensure the business operates efficiently and profitably.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 10 years of related experience
• 3+ years of construction industry experience in public accounting or private industry
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
