General Summary of Position:As an Offer Management Pricing Analyst at Granite Telecommunications, the role will focus on coordinating the company's efforts in creating customer quote proposals. The analyst works closely with the Premier and Sales Department to ensure pricing accuracy of all quote proposals and meet the pricing needs of current or potential customers. Responsibilities include gathering relevant data, engaging with customers to understand their concerns, leading the creation of the quote proposal, and putting together the financial margin for each proposal.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Define the customer's need while coordinating with Sales and Premier to gather comprehensive information about pricing and solution requirements.
- Work with solution engineers to analyze the customer's requirements and ensure the proper solution is quoted.
- Collaborate with the Legal Team to incorporate pricing terms into the customer's LOA or MSA.
- Create and review quote proposals and margin analysis, considering financial implications, and share details with stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with sales, solution engineers, legal, and customers throughout the quoting process.
- Manage time to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changes in the quoting process.
- Follow established guidelines and use necessary quoting templates to maintain quality results.
- Handle confidential information with judgment and discretion.
- Gather data to create margin analysis and apply special pricing.
- Assess final pricing for competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Create tailored customer quote proposals and margin documents reflecting Granite's pricing structure.
- Apply promotion pricing, volume-based discounts, and custom pricing packages where appropriate.
- Confirm pricing structure and financial standing when onboarding new customers and products.
- Assist with updating quoting databases and market data to enhance competitiveness for future bids.

- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with coordination and planning capabilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis software.
- Basic technical skill of Power Pivot, Access, and data mining.
- Independent and team-oriented work style.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Strategic and tactical thinking skills.
- Self-motivation for task completion and knowledge increase.
- Strong understanding of mathematics, statistics, and complex calculations.
- Ability to communicate complex numerical information concisely.
- Knowledge of financial concepts such as profit margins, cost analysis, and pricing strategies.
- SQL experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a quote or pricing analysis role.
- Comfort with Salesforce.
