** Controller

** Overview
* * Reporting to senior financial leadership, this role supports enterprise-wide financial reporting and accounting functions, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Support preparation, maintenance, and integrity of the general ledger and financial management reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
* Ensure accounting transactions and financial reporting comply with GAAP/FASB standards and established internal controls to mitigate risk and protect organizational assets.
* Maintain and reconcile asset and liability accounts, ensuring proper accounting methodologies, policies, and documentation.
* Support federal, state, and local tax reporting and compliance requirements.
* Partner with operational and finance stakeholders to improve accounting processes, procedures, and reporting accuracy and timeliness.
* Lead, train, and develop team members, providing ongoing feedback and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
* Contribute to strategic initiatives including consolidations, cash and accounts receivable, fixed and leased assets, liabilities and debt, payroll and benefits, and special projects/process improvement efforts.
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of six years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience, including people management.
* Experience in complex, regulated environments preferred (e.g., healthcare, higher education, or nonprofit).
* CPA and experience with financial analysis, revenue cycle, or business planning preferred.
