Mortgage Loan Officer

Georgia Banking Company is seeking highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Loan Originator. This role is ideal for ambitious professionals with a strong network and sales expertise in the mortgage industry. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, guiding clients through the loan process, and building long-term relationships with home buyers and real estate professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively develop and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, and referral partners to generate leads.
• Assist clients in selecting the right mortgage loan products based on their financial needs.
• Manage the loan origination process from application to closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for clients.
• Stay up-to-date with lending regulations, mortgage products, and industry trends.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal mortgage lending laws.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and production goals

• Active Mortgage Loan (NMLS) License in the state of Georgia (required).
• Proven track record in mortgage sales, with a strong ability to generate leads and close loans.
• In-depth knowledge of various mortgage loan products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans.
• Strong sales, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
