Seasoned CPA – Respected Law Firm

Our client, a deeply rooted, multi-faceted law firm with offices across Georgia, is seeking an experienced CPA to join its Corporate & Transactional team
. This role is ideal for a CPA who enjoys working closely with attorneys on sophisticated business transactions and providing strategic, tax-focused insight throughout the deal lifecycle.

• Active CPA license required
• 5
  -10 years of experience in public accounting, corporate finance, and transactional tax
• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial accounting principles
• Deep knowledge of corporate tax (with a focus on S corporations) and partnership tax concepts
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Perform tax and financial analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions
• Assist attorneys with transaction structuring and financial modeling for tax efficiency and compliance
• Review financial statements, tax returns, and related documentation
• Conduct due diligence and prepare financial summaries
• Research tax law and corporate compliance issues
• Develop strategic approaches to purchase price and working capital adjustments
• Analyze tax recapture issues related to asset dispositions, depreciation, and deferred exchanges
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients’ accountants to deliver practical, business-driven solutions
