6 Degrees Group is recruiting for a Credit & Collections Specialist on behalf of our client. This role is responsible for maintaining customer accounts and managing the full credit and collections process. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple departments, including Billing and Cash Applications, to ensure account accuracy and timely resolutions. This is a great opportunity for professionals with strong analytical and communication skills to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Contact customers via phone and email to resolve outstanding balances and document interactions.
- Investigate and reconcile customer accounts, addressing disputes and processing credit requests.
- Monitor A/R aging reports and coordinate monthly reviews of outstanding balances.
- Work closely with third‑party collection agencies and internal teams to resolve delinquent accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2+ years of experience in credit & collections and customer service.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and ability to develop key collection metrics.
