Risk Management Specialist III (26-0080) – State Office of Risk Management (TX)

The State Office of Risk Management (SORM) is seeking a Risk Management Specialist III to perform complex risk management work. Work involves developing and implementing agency risk management programs, as well as conducting risk management reviews. May train others. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

SORM’s core missions are customer service oriented. They administer the workers' compensation program, insurance and risk management programs, and continuity of operations program for other state entities.
