CT Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross‑sectional images that help physicians diagnose and treat patients. They perform diagnostic computerized tomography (CT) examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of a supervising radiologist, providing care for all age groups—including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. They demonstrate ability to conduct advanced CT imaging (cardiac and vascular) and are competent with cross‑sectional anatomy and physiology, delivering complex technical care tailored to patient needs.
ResponsibilitiesPerform and supervise CT examinations, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to achieve diagnostic goals.
Qualifications- Graduate of an AMA‑approved radiologic technology program.
- At least 1 year of CT experience.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (CT) and possess advanced ARRT certification in CT.
- BLS certified.
