Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Tech (Full-Time)

Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures, including pacemaker/ICD insertions, radio frequency ablation and other invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. Operate the electrophysiology recorder, hemodynamic monitoring computer, and perform scrubbing duties for invasive procedures. Provide patient care to adult and geriatric patients.

• Must possess one of the following:
  American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), IBHRE, CEPS (Certified Electrophysiology Specialist) and/or prior applicable training/experience in invasive cardiology and/or electrophysiology.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Thorough knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation.
• Must obtain advanced specialty certification within two years of hire date.

• Experience in electrophysiology or interventional cardiac cath lab.
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) Certification (formerly NASPE) or prior electrophysiology experience.
• Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS Allied Health).
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
