The Coordinator Pathology Laboratory implements, plans, organizes and staffs the work activities of the laboratory during each shift to provide laboratory services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Collaborates with various departments, medical staff and others as necessary to assure that pathology systems, techniques and procedures are appropriate for departmental services.

REQUIRED:

1. Ten (10) years experience as a histology technician, five (5) years experience as a histology supervisor
2. Computer skills: knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel): basic statistics skills.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. HT ASCP certification

PREFERRED:
1. BS degree in science
