Our client is on a mission to create healthier communities by increasing clinical trial awareness and participation in underrepresented populations. The Community Clinical Navigator will foster trusted relationships and bring awareness of clinical research opportunities to underserved communities
Responsibilities- create, cultivate, and manage trusted community relationships in underserved communities in assigned territory.
- facilitate impactful initiatives to increase clinical trial awareness and interest.
- serve as a vital link between clinical programs and community health trends.
The Community Clinical Navigator will play a key role in empowering communities by connecting them with valuable health education resources and ensuring community voices are represented in client discussions. This work will include hosting presentations, implementing community-based programs and participating in data collection to measure impact.
Community Engagement- Build credibility with community stakeholders and collaborative partners
- Support outreach activities
- Collaborate with community leaders
- Collaborate with colleagues who build and maintain comprehensive project plans
- Sharing the perspectives of the community
- Ensure communication occurs in a transparent and timely manner
- Master’s (preferred) or bachelor’s in Public Health, Health Education, Nursing, or related fields
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience
- Minimum of 2 years of field-based partnership management which included regular and direct interactions with one or more local community stakeholders
- Previous experience working in Public Health programming
- Strong understanding of health equity
- Ability to travel regionally
