The analyst is responsible for tracking and reporting on compliance-related initiatives impacting the hospital to their reporting coordinator. The analyst will serve as an internal consultant to management, staff and physicians in the areas of compliance. The analyst will help maintain legal and regulatory compliance by researching and communicating requirements and obtaining approvals. Works with coordinator to help define project goals, develop detailed work plans, establish timelines, identify performance measures, run reports and assist with implementation of process change in order to maintain compliance.

Supports ad hoc requests for government market, regulatory, legislative research and analysis and answers questions on a variety of compliance issues.

This position requires an individual who is a self-starter, has the ability to manage multiple priorities, works with only general supervision on assigned projects and activities, demonstrates tact and diplomacy in situations of conflict and controversy and demonstrates excellent communication and presentation skills.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supports project management of corporate compliance initiatives.
  • Assists with department compliance monitoring and auditing activities to coordinate regulatory compliance.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Supports the collection of data for regulatory filings and compliance initiatives.
  • REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • PREFERRED
  • 2+ years of experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably with experience in compliance or health care administration.
