Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Hematology-Oncology night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital-based Hematology-Oncology Med/Surg unit,

• Patient population includes oncology, step down, and sickle cell cases,

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Chemo certification is preferred but not required,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required,

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in medical/surgical or hematology-oncology in a comparable setting,

• Chemo certification preferred,

• Recent experience with patient populations including oncology and sickle cell,

• Resume must show no gaps greater than 60 days,

• Current BLS certification,

• Ability to provide two supervisory references from the past two years relevant to the specialty,

• Duties include providing nursing care to oncology, step down, and sickle cell patients,

• No RTO (requested time off) permitted during the contract,

• Up-to-date skills checklist and certification cards required for consideration,

• Experience with major hospital EMRs should be specified on resume,
