Job Duties And Responsibilities- Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition
- Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities
- Escorts VIPs to rooms and checks them in prior to arrival
- Answers the telephone within three rings with a smile and handles questions or transfers as needed
- Handles cash drops, counts bank at shift start and end, reports any discrepancies
- Maintains a clean and organized front desk area
- Assists with lobby activation as needed
- Manages guest PPI data using proper procedures
- Follows check‑in/check‑out checklist, obtains required identification and payment
- Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries
- Performs various other duties assigned to meet business objectives
- Minimum of one (1) year in front desk operations
- In‑depth knowledge of hotel front desk operations
- Minimum of high school education
Skills And Abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
- Excellent time‑management skills
- Experience with phone, manager, drug screen, background check, reference checks and employment assessments
