Hosts/Greeters are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for the restaurant guests for our Spaceman Lounge. These individuals have the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table accommodations, offering menu recommendations, and informing guests of any specialty information. Additionally, Hosts/Greeters may be the final point of contact and must ensure overall guest satisfaction.
This role will be responsible for overseeing the venue’s reservation systems, including taking, modifying, and canceling reservations. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, problem solving and troubleshooting guest concerns, maintaining a quality overall experience, including ambiance, music, and professionalism.
- Welcome guests and create a positive first impression.
- Provide table accommodations and offer menu recommendations.
- Inform guests of any specialty information.
- Act as the final point of contact for guest satisfaction.
- Oversee the venue’s reservation systems (taking, modifying, canceling).
- Problem solve and troubleshoot guest concerns.
- Maintain ambiance, music, and overall professionalism.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous experience as Restaurant Host/Greeter preferred.
- Experience with reservation systems (Seven Rooms, Open Table, Resy, etc.).
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 10 pounds.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
