Overview
The Manager of Talent Acquisition position will be responsible for supporting and executing recruitment strategies and plans for a growing Southeast Regional Construction Company located in Norcross, GA. The candidate will partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs, source high-quality candidates through networking and diverse channels, and conduct in-depth interviews, negotiate compensation packages, while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.
This role will directly report to the Director of Human Resources and will perform a variety of tasks (both strategic and tactical) to support the Talent Acquisition function.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and identify talent gaps, then develop proactive talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent.
- Utilize various methods like networking, social media, job boards, and professional associations to identify and engage potential candidates, including passive candidates.
- Conduct thorough candidate screening and in-depth interviews to evaluate qualifications, cultural fit, and potential for success.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, guiding job descriptions, interview techniques, and candidate evaluation.
- Negotiate compensation packages with candidates, considering market data and company guidelines.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive employer brand by promoting the company culture and employee value proposition.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to work as one team.
- Conduct thorough debriefings with hiring managers following interviews.
- Provide weekly and monthly data and progress reports.
- Develop an understanding of market conditions, continually learn, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends/markets.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition or similar role.
- Experience in in-depth construction, HVAC, or engineering recruiting is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience developing effective sourcing strategies to provide a continuous flow of quality and quantity of candidates for the pipeline.
- Experience managing talent acquisition for mechanical, engineering, corporate groups, and highly technical positions.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office) and familiarity with office equipment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Schedule:
M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, entirely on-site in the new HQ office.
