DPR Construction is seeking an energetic and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to help hire the best and brightest for our company. You will identify strong candidates across a variety of positions and play a pivotal role in our recruiting process.
Responsibilities- Develop strong relationships and partner with key employees, hiring managers, business unit leaders, and HR.
- Understand DPR’s culture, practices, and roles to effectively convey them to new candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers and leaders to determine key requirements for roles, develop recruiting strategies, and create interview plans.
- Offer recruitment expertise and consulting to improve recruitment results.
- Conduct sourcing via social recruiting, networking, employee referrals, job postings, etc.
- Screen resumes, interview candidates, gather interviewers’ feedback, administer reference checks, and make hiring or disposition recommendations.
- Manage multiple competing demands, re‑prioritizing effectively in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
- Maintain knowledge of recruiter compliance regulations and comply with EEOC requirements.
- Follow up with Business Units and candidates to ensure timely recruitment progress.
- Measure, monitor, and report on recruiting goals, metrics, and performance factors in the hiring cycle; communicate results to business leaders.
- Manage candidate activity in the Workday applicant tracking system.
- Five plus years of staffing/recruitment experience with strong ability to recruit at all levels of the organization.
- Two‑year degree from a recognized college or university (four‑year degree preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience working on team‑based projects.
- Clear understanding of the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle processes.
- Experience mapping and sourcing resumes from all sources.
- Strong vendor management skills for recruitment activities such as search firms and job boards.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data mining/internet research.
- Experience in general HR functions is preferred.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems—Workday experience is a plus.
