Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of global compensation programs for over two thousand secondees in alignment with member firm compensation principles and KPMGI's business objectives.
  • Adapt compensation frameworks to align with global business objectives, member firm guidelines, local laws, industry standards, and market trends.
  • Work closely with local HR and compensation teams to ensure consistent application of their compensation principles and policies across global locations.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Business Planning team to forecast and manage the compensation budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control.
  • Employ advanced analytics to evaluate global compensation trends and organizational requirements, providing data‑driven insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum twelve years of recent experience in global compensation management, with a focus on strategic planning, modelling, implementation, and transformation across multiple international markets.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, or certification as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field is required.
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation management software (e.g., Success Factors), proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI.
  • Deep understanding of compensation principles and practices in a global professional services or similarly complex organization.
  • Exceptional communication, change management, and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders across cultures and geographies.
  • Superior consultative, analytical, and organizational skills are critical; the ability to think strategically and link action plans to critical business priorities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employment‑based visa sponsorship. No sponsorship is available for H‑1B, L‑1, TN, O‑1, E‑3, H‑1B1, F‑1, J‑1, OPT, CPT, or any other employment‑based visa.

Salary range: $155,000 – $311,000 (California). Regional ranges available via the KPMG pay‑transparency portal:
