Location:
Atlanta, GA (DOAS) | Duration: 6 months
- Deliver training and content related to the State’s new HRIS, Workday (GA@WORK).
- Provide training and resources to agency recruiters on talent pool optimization, internship programs, interviewing, hiring best practices, and Workday usage.
- Research and apply Workday training best practices to support continuous program improvement.
- Analyze GA@WORK‑related data and generate graphic and narrative reports and presentations.
- Maintain and update training course materials, exercises, hand‑outs, and exams to reflect best practices and policy changes.
- Conduct instructor‑led training virtually and in‑person for state entity staff.
- Utilize systems training environments or other related tools to lead student activities.
- Assist with maintenance of the HRA Learning Management System, including enrollment requests and other administrative tasks.
- Respond to requests from a variety of stakeholders.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Experience delivering training through multiple methods (in‑person, online, virtual, multimedia).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak credibly at all levels.
- Program management and administration skills: organization, detail orientation, and multi‑tasking.
- Aptitude for learning and using technology for training design and data analysis.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Travel may be required.
- High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of job‑related experience in human resources;
- OR one (1) year of experience at the lower‑level HR Spec 2 (HRP
021) or position equivalent. - Equivalent combinations of knowledge, education, experience, training, or certifications are acceptable.
- Experience using Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Optimization (Management), or other Workday modules within an HR department as an administrator or trainer.
- HRIS systems training experience.
Local candidates only. The position may require annual budget restrictions and is initially contract — anticipated renewal July 1st.
