SummaryThe Compensation Analyst provides analytical and operational support for broad-based compensation programs. This role focuses on compensation surveys, job evaluations, market pricing, and analytics support to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
Key Responsibilities- Support compensation survey participation, including job matching, data submission, and validation of market results.
- Assist with job evaluations and role leveling using established job architecture frameworks.
- Perform market pricing analysis to support salary ranges and offer recommendations.
- Prepare compensation analytics, reports, and data summaries using Excel and HR systems.
- Support annual compensation cycles (merit and bonus) through data preparation, audits, and quality checks.
- Partner with senior compensation team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to guidelines.
- Maintain compensation documentation and support process improvements as assigned.
- 3–6 years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or HR analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Experience with compensation surveys and job evaluation methodologies preferred.
- Exposure to HRIS or compensation tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Compensation: $35/hr to $45/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
