Recent Graduate candidates will work full‑time with seasoned recruiters and account executives to gain a foundation for the IT industry – from best recruiting practices to account management. - Participate in an informative 2‑month training program with experienced Recruiters and Account Executives to boost your career in IT recruiting
- Work closely with a Team Lead to perfect your skills in sourcing, interviewing, and submitting candidates
- Gain experience in cold calling, interacting, and prospecting new business
- Gain a foundation for Optomi’s recruiting and sales process to eventually move into a Technical Recruiter role
- Use various job platforms to search for and reach out to qualified candidates passively/actively looking for employment
- Conduct phone interviews to assess candidates’ technical experience to see if they are a match for the job opening
- Format resume/submittal package to highlight candidate’s top skills for client review
- Prepare the candidate for phone and in‑person interviews by having in‑depth conversations surrounding questions, scenarios, and technical experience that may be asked by the client
- Work closely with Account Executives to negotiate pay rates for both consultant and client
- Gather and prepare all onboarding paperwork for the candidate after the offer/acceptance stage
- Continue to stay connected with the consultant through happy hours, in‑person meetings, coffees, etc., to ensure they are happy and successful in their new role.
- Meet minimum weekly metric,s including phone interviews/submittals to open jobs
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 0 years of professional experience – Training provided!

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to develop strong and genuine relationships with our customers and consultants
