Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) is on track to become the largest comprehensive spine and joint care provider in the Southeast while providing clinical, surgical and imaging services to our patients. We are seeking a full-time, results‑driven and experienced Physician Recruiter to join our dynamic talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding high‑caliber physicians and other specialty healthcare professionals for our organization.

This role requires a minimum of four (4) years of dedicated experience in specialty healthcare recruiting, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully filling complex, hard‑to‑fill positions.

Location:

Atlanta, GA. Salary: $65,000–$70,000.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full‑Cycle Recruitment:
    Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and successful onboarding of physician candidates.
  • Strategic Sourcing:
    Utilize innovative and effective sourcing strategies, including direct outreach, networking, social media, job boards, and industry events to build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Relationship Management:
    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process. Manage relationships with 3rd party physician recruiting agencies.
  • Needs Assessment:
    Partner with clinical leadership and department heads to understand specific staffing needs, position requirements, and departmental culture.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    Ensure all recruitment activities comply with state and federal regulations, and maintain accurate and up‑to‑date candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Market Analysis:
    Stay abreast of industry trends, market data, and competitive intelligence to inform recruitment strategies and compensation packages.
  • Negotiation:
    Expertly negotiate competitive compensation packages, including salary, benefits, and relocation assistance, to secure top talent.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in specialty healthcare recruiting.
  • Proven success in recruiting for various medical provider roles (Physician, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner) across specialties (e.g., interventional pain management, surgical specialties, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of physician compensation models, contracts, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, and meet established metrics and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software/tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Health Science, or a related field.
