We have a vacancy for someone to join our Global HR team reporting into the VP of HR (Based in UK). This role is standalone working from our office in Atlanta, GA, with a requirement to be based in the office. You’ll use your experience and expertise to provide expert HR advice and support to managers and employees across multiple States in the US (approx.
75 FTE) including several physical offices across the US.
Our office in Atlanta was recently upgraded with a complete solar panel system and continues to expand, as the US based core manufacturing and shipping hub for VITEC worldwide.
From corporate to government and broadcast, the US workforce has pushed VITEC to master video technology and pioneer innovative streaming solutions, and to build a brighter video future for the world and beyond.
About the RoleAs HR Manager, you will lead and deliver a comprehensive generalist HR agenda. Acting as a trusted advisor to line managers and employees, you will ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, processes, and initiatives that align to the global HR strategy and foster a positive employee experience.
What you’ll doHR Advisory & Guidance
- Provide timely and expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead and manage the US recruitment plan
- Manage effective recruitment plans for vacancies end to end in line with global processes
- Develop and strengthen the employer brand internationally
- Utilize diverse attraction methods tailored to each vacancy
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience with clear communication throughout the process
- Proactively source candidates and build talent pipelines
- Administer and coordinate the company’s pay and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Employee Relations
- Manage and resolve HR issues effectively, promoting fair and consistent practices across the organization.
Learning & Development
- Design and deliver training programs that support and enhance employee development across the organization.
- Lead initiatives that promote employee wellbeing and engagement, driving a positive workplace culture.
HR Data & Reporting
- Ensure accurate maintenance of HR documentation and produce Management Information reports to inform decision-making and track key HR metrics.
HR Administration
:
- Maintain and update employee records, prepare employment contracts, and assist with HR systems and databases. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
HR Projects & Process Improvement
- Own and deliver HR projects that align with the global HR strategy. Support the VP of HR in global initiatives, reviewing and improving HR processes to meet current and future requirements.
Facilities and Office Management
- Responsible for overseeing facilities and office management, with support from the US Operations Team to, ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment, that supports organizational productivity and compliance.
You are a hands-on HR professional with the ability to translate HR strategy into practical solutions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to prioritise effectively and deliver activities aligned to HR global strategy.
Key Requirements- Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor in a generalist capacity.
- Strong understanding of HR policy and practice and employment legislation
- Strong understanding of HR Systems and HR MI
- It’s also desirable to have experience of managing recruitment campaigns end-to-end with a focus on direct hiring
- Experience of working in a complex organisation that makes a product, ideally in the technology sector is desirable
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic workload and uses initiative effectively
- Compassionate and commercially aware, with the ability to consider wider impact of decisions
- Skilled in influencing and aligning HR activities with global HR strategy
- A SHRM qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable
