Connect Staffing seeks an experienced candidate for a Director of Attorney Recruiting opening with a top Atlanta area law firm. This role leads the attorney recruiting strategy across multiple offices, overseeing the hiring of lateral partners, associates, counsel, and law students, including campus recruiting and summer associate programs. The position partners closely with senior leadership and practice leaders to align hiring with business goals and growth priorities.
The Director of Attorney Recruiting manages the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing and outreach through offers, onboarding, and integration—while delivering a high-touch experience for candidates and internal stakeholders. This role also leads and develops the legal recruiting team, manages external search firm relationships, and uses market data and recruiting metrics to guide strategic decisions.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a firm‑wide attorney recruiting strategy aligned with business objectives
Advise leadership on hiring priorities, market trends, and competitive intelligence
Oversee full‑cycle recruiting for lateral and entry‑level attorneys
Lead campus recruiting efforts and summer associate programs
Manage and develop the legal recruiting team and external recruiting partners
Oversee recruiting systems, reporting, and budgets
6+ years of attorney recruiting or talent acquisition experience in a law firm or professional services environment
Proven experience leading recruiting initiatives and managing stakeholders at a senior level
Strong business judgment, communication skills, and comfort working with data and metrics
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (Master’s or JD)
Compensation: $100,000-$180,000 per year
