Payroll Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY: The Payroll Specialist supports the HR Department by overseeing payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely completion each week.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Process payroll weekly for over 300 employees.
• Assist employees with benefit questions, enrollment, and HRIS issues.
• Conduct employment verifications.
• Maintain current knowledge of Federal and State laws and compliance requirements.
• Drive results passionately by acting swiftly to ensure the long-term best interests of company objectives.
• Stay informed about the competitive landscape, including trends in payroll and benefits.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources, Management, or related field.

Experience: 5+ years in Human Resources and payroll.

Special Skills/

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of the Human Resources field.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems (UKG and ADP) and Microsoft Office products.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
