Job OverviewWSP is initiating a search for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to support our Property and Buildings practice. This position will be seated in a United States WSP office and is a

- Communicate HR talent acquisition processes and initiatives, partner with management, provide professional guidance, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with hiring managers to assist with high‑volume recruitment needs, prepare job postings, review candidates using the ATS, coordinate interview schedules, and ensure requisitions are compliantly managed.
- Create a proactive candidate pipeline through direct applicants, passive sourcing, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Participate in regular meetings with line managers and supervisors to provide insights on upcoming candidate sourcing initiatives and deliver consultation when needed.
- Use discretion, professional knowledge, and judgment in recruitment matters such as drafting postings, hiring requisitions, process administration, job status changes, salary data, and EEO compliance.

Benchmark input for internal/external talent acquisition action plans. - Identify coaching and training needs for hiring managers and teams, and monitor training outcomes.
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to posting, interviewing, and selection to reduce legal risk.
- Assist with development of end‑user communication and hiring strategies while managing demanding hiring managers.
- Stay current in passive and active candidate acquisition techniques, practices, talent pipeline development, employment laws, and legal requirements.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant post‑education experience in enterprise‑level HR talent sourcing, sluiten, or talent acquisition discipline.
- Experience in the AEC industry and a strong understanding of engineering and technical positions.
- Familiarity with talent pool pipeline development, attraction strategies for passive candidates, job posting and social media engagement, selection interviewing, and federal/state employment law.
- Demonstrated self‑leadership with attention to detail, multi‑tasking, and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and with strict adherence to WSP HR policy, process, and practices.
- Competent with technical writing, office automation, Applicant Tracking Systems, MS Office suite, spreadsheets, and HR tools.
- Ability to work schedules that may extend beyond the typical work week.
- Strong user of Linked In Recruiter.
- Occasional travel may be required depending on job‑specific requirements.
- Experience in full‑cycle recruiting of Buildings Engineering professionals.
- Familiarity with Oracle.
- AIRS Certification desired or working toward certification with demonstrated understanding of the HR competencies.

CompensationExpected Salary (all locations): $72,800–$84,200
