Airbus is looking for a Employee Development Initiatives Specialist (Contract) to join our Human Resources team. In this role within the Talent organization, the Employee Development Initiatives Specialist will drive and support critical talent initiatives. Driving the effective execution and leveraging technology to enable key global HR lifecycle processes and employee development initiatives throughout the year. This role is pivotal in ensuring the Talent team operates with high quality, efficiency, and impactful support.
This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.

Your Challenges- Implementing Region Wide HR projects, programs and processes
- Serve as the central point for data acquisition and governance, collaborating with HR Business Partners and HR digital teams to generate comprehensive analyses for key talent processes.
- Orchestrate the development of presentations, strategic planning, facilitation, and logistical support for talent-focused engagements.
- Administer Airbus development programs, ensuring smooth operational flow.
- Delivering high quality, customer-focused service
- Contribute to internal communications by producing visually engaging materials, including Google Slides, infographics, and other content.
- Lead data-driven insights related to Learning, Development, and Talent Management programs through robust analytics and reporting.
- Act as a liaison with HR Business Partners on the operational aspects of talent initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, business or related degree
- 3+ years of experience within an HR function.
- 2+ years of experience in leading and coordinating significant operational initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative.
- Proven ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable and insightful reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the agility to adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic setting.
- A proactive mindset with a desire to understand the complexities of organizational challenges and opportunities.
- Experience with HRIS tools
- Google Workspace and Workday Systems Proficiency highly desired.
- Working knowledge of federal, state and local employment law, and HR regulations, preferred.

- Vision:
Daily able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. - Hearing:
Daily able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms. - Speaking:
Daily able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. - Equipment Operation:
Daily able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. - Carrying:
Several times a week able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. - Lifting:
Several times a week able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. - Pushing / Pulling:
Several times a week able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. - Sitting:
Daily able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer. - Squatting / Kneeling:
Several times a month able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. - Standing:
Daily able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor. - Travel:
Rarely able to travel independently and at short notice. - Walking:
Daily able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. - Appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor
