Employee Relations Specialist About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to support a dynamic workforce by managing employee relations matters, providing guidance on HR policies and practices, and helping foster a positive and compliant work environment. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, handling sensitive workplace issues while balancing business needs and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & Case Management

+ Manage and investigate employee relations concerns, workplace complaints, and misconduct allegations.

+ Partner with leaders to evaluate situations, determine appropriate resolutions, and ensure consistent application of company policies.

+ Support legal and compliance-related employment matters, including documentation and case preparation.

+ Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely case records and reporting.

Manager & Employee Support

+ Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.

+ Provide guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, workplace accommodations, and employee support resources.

+ Act as a trusted resource for navigating complex employee situations.

Stakeholder Partnership

+ Build strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders to support organizational goals.

+ Collaborate with HR, Legal, and other business functions to address workplace challenges and drive effective solutions.

+ Assist with employee communications, presentations, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Policy & Process Improvement

+ Contribute to the development, enhancement, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

+ Identify trends and root causes of employee relations issues and recommend proactive solutions.

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen employee experience, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

Compliance & Documentation

+ Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.

+ Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to employee relations activities.

+ Conduct research and analyze workforce trends to support informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications

+ 3-5 years of experience in Employee Relations, Human Resources, or a related HR function.

+ Demonstrated experience investigating and resolving employee relations matters.

+ Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment practices, and workplace compliance requirements.

+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.

+ Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

+ Experience partnering with managers and leaders across multiple business functions.

+ Knowledge of employment law, workplace investigations, and performance management practices.

+ Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
