** This job leads the Employee Relations function, guiding policy development and ensuring compliance with employment laws. It fosters a positive workplace culture and addresses complex employee issues. The role strategically partners with senior leadership to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
** Job Description
**** Responsibilities:
*** Overseeing the update and refinement of Human Resources policies in accordance with evolving legislation and internal changes
* Leading the oversight of internal investigations into discrimination, harassment, and employee disputes, ensuring fair resolution
* Directing the development and implementation of Employee Relations strategies, policies, and programs to support organizational objectives
* Designing training and communication materials to educate staff on workplace expectations and the grievance process
* Championing a respectful work environment by modeling desired behaviors and consistently applying HR policies
* Managing compliance with employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Title VII, through thorough investigations and resolutions
* Facilitating sensitive counseling sessions on EEO, ADA, performance issues, and terminations, providing expert guidance
* Conducting employee engagement initiatives, such as focus groups and surveys, to gather feedback and drive satisfaction
* Collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement action plans based on employee feedback, enhancing workplace relations
* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
