Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Power BI Analyst/Developer to join our team in a hybrid Atlanta-based role. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving engagement with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical needs, developing data-driven solutions, and managing the delivery of business intelligence initiatives. This role plays a key part in advancing our organization’s self-service reporting capabilities and ensuring stakeholders have access to meaningful, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for reporting and analytics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across departments to promote collaboration and data literacy.
• Design, develop, and publish reports and dashboards within Power BI and other BI tools to meet business needs.
• Support the implementation of self-service reporting solutions, enabling users to explore and visualize data independently.
• Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle for BI deliverables, including data modeling, report design, validation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ensure that data and reporting outputs are accurate, consistent, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Communicate complex technical and analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Collaborate closely with data engineering and IT teams to ensure proper data integration, governance, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power BI Developer, BI Analyst, or in a similar business intelligence role.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and workspace management.
• Experience connecting Power BI to SQL Server, Excel, and cloud-based data sources (e.g., Azure, Snowflake).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Data Services, Power Automate, or Power Apps.
• Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in promoting self-service BI adoption and data governance practices.
