Desktop Analyst | Century City, Los Angeles – Onsite | $80k-95k

About the Role

The Desktop Analyst provides advanced 2nd and 3rd level support across the firm and serves as a key member of the IT support team. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and performance of desktop systems across the firm.

Work Schedule:

8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Location:

Full-Time, in-office presence required (100%)

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware.
  • Diagnose and resolve client‑side network connectivity issues involving both physical components and software.
  • Set up and maintain HP network‑class printers, addressing configuration and operational issues.
  • Resolve remote access problems related to hardware and software.
  • Configure and troubleshoot a variety of smartphone devices to ensure seamless integration with firm systems.
  • Monitor the desktop ticket queue, respond promptly to user requests, and maintain communication throughout the resolution process in alignment with service level agreements.
  • Facilitate audio‑visual setups for meetings, including video conferencing, LCD projectors, laptops and live webcast configurations with AC and Conference Services teams.
The ideal candidate will need to have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in desktop support within a professional service environment; prior experience in a law firm is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with hardware including desktops, laptops, smartphones, HP printers and scanners
  • Experience supporting Windows environments
  • Experience using Office 365
  • A strong knowledge of Active Directory
