Systems Administrator

Client is seeking a System Administrator to install, monitor, maintain, and secure IT systems and software in both cloud and on-premises environments. This senior-level role includes managing the Systems Administration team and serving as a subject matter expert in O365/Azure and enterprise infrastructure. The position is not intended for PC end-user support or entry-level Systems Admin support.

• Manages a team of IT professionals in the systems administration domain.
• Advanced tenant-level administration experience with O365.
• Administration of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Active Directory (Domain Controllers, Group Policy).
• Administration of VMware infrastructure.
• Ensure secure configuration of information systems.
• Develop and maintain Power Shell scripts to automate processes.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
• Identify, recommend updates, and perform maintenance on network and systems architecture.
• Promote a culture of information security across the agency.
• Ability to quickly learn systems and software used by the organization.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Prepare documentation and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND three years of directly related supervisory/management experience OR five years of directly related supervisory/management experience OR one year of experience at the lower level Mgr, Information Technology (ITM
  020) or position equivalent.
• Four years of IT management experience.
• Four years of advanced-level Microsoft Azure / O365 administration.
• Four years of advanced-level Microsoft Active Directory administration.
• Two years of network administration.
• Two years of IT system design and architecture.
• Four years of advanced-level VMware administration.
• Three years of experience analyzing business needs and providing technical solutions.

• Experience in senior-level administration of O365/Azure and on-premises environments.

• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
