We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead client engagements and guide teams in analyzing, designing, and implementing scalable data solutions.
This role involves reverse engineering data models, profiling data, and developing conceptual, logical, and physical data architectures.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, compliance, and alignment with business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead analysis of existing systems and data models, including reverse engineering ETL code and data pipelines.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business requirements.
- Define relationships, data flows, and entity relationships for efficient database architecture.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and normalization across systems.
- Gather and translate stakeholder requirements into scalable data models.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other architects to design solutions.
- Present data models and architectural recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Design and implement schemas in relational (SQL) and No
SQL databases. - Optimize database performance through indexing and query tuning.
- Support ETL processes for data migration and integration.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and data governance frameworks.
- Align data models with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Stay current with trends in data modeling, big data, and AI/ML.
- Recommend architectural improvements for scalability and efficiency.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in professional services or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Postgre
SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - 3+ years of experience with SQL and data modeling tools.
- 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and DAX Data Modeling.
- Proven experience as a Data Modeler.
- Strong knowledge of database structures and data mining techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
