Associate - Technology Assurance Cloud Focus

Overview

Associate - Digitalization and IT Assurance with Cloud focus. This hybrid position can be based out of Iselin, NJ, Plano, TX, or Atlanta, GA.

Siemens is looking for an Associate-Digitalization & IT Assurance to provide assurance around risks and opportunities arising from artificial intelligence, digitalization, evolving business models, cloud adoption, data privacy, and large IT/transformation projects. This role supports Siemens’ management as a business partner and contributes to innovative assurance through collaboration with internal teams and external auditors.

• Identify key risks in Siemens’s digital environments (on premise and cloud) that form the backbone of major IT transformation projects, new digital products, and business models.
• Design and execute comprehensive audit programs and controls addressing identified risks.
• Enhance and challenge existing audit techniques.
• Develop and promote digital use cases to increase coverage and overall assurance in cooperation with the data analytics team.
• Independently drive assurance objectives, define conclusions, and recommend improvements to drive change as necessary.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure effective and efficient audit procedures.
• Drive meetings with auditees and key stakeholders to present conclusions and recommended improvements.
• Contribute to shaping the future of the department by identifying priorities and implementing changes.
• Maintain and build your network across Siemens businesses and functions.
• Conduct audit engagements using CF A’s Agile Audit Framework.

• Proven track record of career development with 5-7+ years of professional experience within Siemens, a technology company, or a respected assurance and consulting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a STEM-related field.
• Understanding of IT risk management and assurance principles, with 5-7+ years of hands-on programming experience.
• Strong desire to develop into a business or functional role after 3-5 years in audit.
• 5-7+ years of experience designing and managing at least one of the following areas: cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform); data processing/storage/analytics technologies; software development methodology (Dev Ops, CI/CD).
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time (domestic and international).

• Master’s Degree.
• Excellent communication skills to summarize and describe audit results.
• Understanding of KPIs used to measure success of technology, R&D, or software development is an added advantage.

• Pay range: $118,300-$202,800. Annual incentive target: 15% of base salary. Actual wage may vary by budget, experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
