Job DescriptionNo third party consultants. And, must be US Citizen or Green Card holder.
We are seeking a Service Now Developer for our Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintenance and enhancement of existing Service Now ITSM applications as well as implementation and development of new applications on the Service Now platform.
This position is for full time employment with Configure Consulting and works normal business hours onsite and remote at various client locations. You will join a highly collaborative team focused on delivering high value to its customers.
Qualifications- Demonstrate expert knowledge of Service Now toolset and integrations with related systems.
- Develop, maintain and enhance applications on the Service Now ITSM platform (help desk/service management)
- Support clients in Service Now operations like User/ Group administration, reporting, Metrics, SLAs, etc.
- Leverage both proven and innovative technology approaches to solve challenging business problems
- Provide technical assessments, written documentation and technical expertise
- Be available to travel and work remote to support issues impacting Service Now or its related systems within the client’s enterprise.
- Support and enhance reporting solutions both within Service Now and through external reporting solutions to support the customer's strategic goals
- Communicate with the customer in technical/non-technical terms, understand their business requirements, and provide suitable solutions.
- Work on continuous improvement by sharing experiences and knowledge with the team.
- Provide quality and consistent service to clients.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years Service Now development experience (including some or all of the following: Core ITSM applications, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Custom Apps)
Able to travel throughout the US as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience- ITILv3 Foundations Certification
- Experience implementing scripted web services in Service Now
- jQuery or Prototype libraries
- CMDB/Asset integrations in Service Now
- Experience following Agile Scrum development
