Job Responsibilities:
- Manage MS SQL Server databases using tools such as Managed DB Engine, Red Gate, Quest, SSIS, Analysis Services, Data Mirroring, Replication, Advanced Compression, MS Cluster Administration, Windows Server (2000/2003/2012), MS Central Management Services, Visual Basic, .NET, IIS, XA, Perl, Power Shell, reporting, and SQL migration.
- Assess and plan for SQL Server versions 2005/2008/2012/2014, Microsoft Cluster Services, SAN, and ITIL V3 foundations.
- Support Java, IIS, mobile applications (iOS and Android), Web Sphere, JDBC configurations, and Oracle database migration to SQL Server, including DB2 Connect.
- Handle smaller to moderately complex projects requiring specialized expertise.
- Ensure database availability, performance, and security in collaboration with business customers and service providers.
- Monitor hardware resources and optimize database performance for high availability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- At least three years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL and related standards.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team environment.
