Responsibilities
- Provide Windows XP desktop and MS Office 2003 products software support.
- Basic LAN Administration for Windows 2000/2003 servers and workstations.
- Email Administration.
- Installation of workstation and file server software and hardware – locally and via remote.
- Support in technology upgrades: both hardware and software.
- Diagnosis and resolution of LAN configuration problems.
- Provide problem tracking support (CA Service Center) – end-user desktop/server support.
- Evaluation and diagnosing of cabling, software and hardware problems.
- Installation and support of telecommunications hardware.
- Basic WAN/LAN troubleshooting skills/tools – TCP/IP, Trace route, NBSTAT, PING, etc.
- Documentation of standard IT processes and procedures.
