The Modern Payroll Technology Leader (Sr. Manager), part of the Digital & IT organization, will lead the strategy, delivery, and support of SaaS payroll platforms, including ADP Global View Payroll, Workforce Manager Pro, and Global My View portals. Acting as the primary liaison between IT, Payroll, HRIS, and ADP implementation teams, this role ensures seamless integration, compliance, and scalability across global payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead payroll transformation projects from initiation through delivery, including planning, execution, testing, and rollout.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Serve as product manager for all payroll and time entry applications and integrations.
  • Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and deliver solutions.
  • Drive legacy system transitions (e.g., J&E, Ulti Pro) and data migration along with configuration workshops and blueprint reviews with ADP.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of applications including ADP Global View, ADP Workforce Manager Pro, Workday HCM, Workday Extend, and related APIs/integrations.
  • Ensure alignment with SDLC and ITIL best practices for application development, deployment, and support.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies to improve payroll and time entry processes.
  • Manage application-related projects from initiation through delivery, including planning, execution, testing, and rollout.
  • Collaborate with PMO and other IT teams to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Maintain documentation, training materials, and governance artifacts.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    5+ years of progressive experience in IT applications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience supporting HR, Payroll, or Time Entry technologies preferred.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency with ADP and/or Payroll platforms (e.g., ADP Global View, ADP Workforce Manager Pro, Ulti Pro, Dayforce) and other SaaS solutions.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Strong grasp of SDLC, ITIL, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Understanding of REST APIs, platform security, payroll parallel testing, integration platforms, and data flow across enterprise systems.
  • Soft Skills:

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
  • Other:
    High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
