Azure Data Engineer at Infosys

Infosys is looking for an Azure Data Engineer with deep expertise in Azure, Databricks, and SQL to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud data platforms, data architecture, and team leadership, with a passion for solving complex data challenges in a collaborative environment.

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.

• Translate business requirements into robust, high‑quality technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, performance, and maintainability across the data ecosystem.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams in a global delivery environment.

• Located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA or Richmond, VA, or willing to relocate.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Extensive hands‑on experience in Azure.
• Hands‑on experience in Databricks and Snowflake.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of modern data warehouse architecture and data modeling.
• Candidates authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship (Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship).

• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong experience with PySpark, Scala, and Airflow.
• Experience in project development lifecycle activities and maintenance/support.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions meeting quality standards.
• Collaboration skills in diverse environments to identify and resolve data issues.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities.
• Experience in global delivery environments.
• Commitment to staying current with industry trends in modern data warehousing.

Job involves prolonged computer use and may require travel within the United States. Communication is expected via telephone, email, or face‑to‑face.

Location: Atlanta, GA (commute to Raleigh, Charlotte, Richmond considered).

Compensation Range: $56,186.00 – $87,556.00 per year (USA).
