The Project Manager will lead and manage multiple small to medium projects or a portfolio of projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting defined success and acceptance criteria.

The role requires strong leadership, agile delivery management, and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in AWS Cloud and Big Data environments.

The individual will coach teams on Agile/Scrum practices, facilitate delivery ceremonies, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining alignment with business goals and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide teams and the organization in Agile/Scrum practices and values to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Plan, coordinate, monitor, and support implementation of multiple systems or products.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Build a safe and trusting environment for open communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Shield the team from external disruptions and proactively remove delivery impediments.
  • Assess and improve Scrum maturity levels across teams and the organization.
  • Support the Product Owner with backlog grooming and prioritization.
  • Serve as a servant leader, promoting self-organization, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project transparency and alignment.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget (typically $500K–$1M TCV).
  • Define project activities, responsibilities, milestones, resources, and governance models.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks using quantitative and qualitative techniques.
  • Implement metrics-driven management for project health, quality, and performance tracking.
  • Develop high-performing teams through mentorship, feedback, and skills enhancement.
  • Lead scope management, requirements analysis, and prioritization based on business needs.
  • Oversee estimation, resource planning, and schedule management for multiple teams.
  • Ensure test and defect management practices are followed, including defect triage and root cause analysis.
  • Manage configuration, governance, and software development best practices to maintain quality standards.
  • Drive knowledge management (KM) initiatives and establish learning platforms for team members.
  • Partner with stakeholders for account management, profitability analysis, and solution structuring.
  • Promote continuous improvement and participate in PM forums to share best practices.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation, innovation, and reusability across projects.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with IT focus, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience implementing Agile methodologies and managing end-to-end project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in AWS Cloud and Big Data technologies.
  • Experience managing large Big Data projects with 25–30 team members.
  • Proficiency in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability in project planning, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Business analysis and estimation experience with sound knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
  • Ability to manage project financials, assess profitability, and improve delivery margins.
  • Familiarity with project governance, risk management, and quantitative performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in small to medium-sized Agile implementations (1–5 teams).
  • Exposure to the finance domain or financial systems.
  • Knowledge of Python and experience with data-driven project environments.
  • Understanding of pricing models, contract management, and licensing strategies.
  • Experience leading organizational initiatives or PM forums to drive process improvement.
